Согласно информации, Санду является кандидатом от блока ACUM. Она предоставила ЦИК 20 подписных листов с 491 подписью, 265 из которых действительны и их хватает для того, чтобы Майя Санду была зарегистрирована в качестве кандидата на выборах.
Отметим, что лидер ПДС также числится первой в списке от блока ACUM в национальном избирательном блоке.
